The very mundane name of Pink/Green Dots comes from the two color marks we gave her upon arrival at RCI, to distinguish her from the other females. PGD came to us from Gina’s Heart of Gold, a much-needed mature female for our mate choice experiment. She lives in the large female habitat, and we often refer to her as the “Post Oak Female” because her pallet is at the base of a post oak tree.
