Gopher, a young female, came to RCI from All Things Wild Rehabilitation together with Big Tex. She is currently living in a pen with Big Tex, but we plan to move her to the adult female habitat when she is a little larger. Like Big Tex, she has a bumpy carapace characteristic of being raised in captivity, and she is bold and fast (for a tortoise).
