Leviathan is an old and unique-looking Texas gopher tortoise, with a very worn-down shell and plastron. He was one of 5 tortoises RCI received from Gina’s Heart of Gold in late May, 2020. Because he is a mature male, Leviathan is living in his own enclosure where he spends hot days in the shade of his burrow. He will be part of the mate choice study.
